I don’t know about anywhere else, but dating in New York City can be entirely too stressful. There’s just too much going on, and dating here forces you to understand one of the MANY reasons why this place is infamously called Concrete Jungle.
Not sure if there are too many people here, so we look at each other as disposable. Or, if there are too many people here in combination with the sensory overload that comes with living in a large city, causing us to retreat when it all becomes too much… I have no idea.
What I do know is that companionship is so important. Having someone who you can always turn to. Loneliness can be dangerous – leaving people with too much time to think.
I hope everyone remains optimistic about love and companionship. If you can push through the vines of hidden agendas, lies, moral corruptness, etc. I think it’ll be worth it in the end. What do you have to lose?
